Withdrawal
When a student withdraws from the current term (previously referred to as "cancellation of enrollment"), the student may be entitled to an adjustment of all or part of their tuition. The policies for adjustments are described below. Note that the adjustment policy may change as a result of revisions to governmental regulations.
Fall and Spring Semesters
Students who withdraw from the current term after classes have started will be charged an administrative fee of 5 percent of the assessed tuition and mandatory fees, but no more than $100.00, in addition to other amounts owing. Tuition, operating, and student services and activities fees will be reversed if students officially withdraw from the University prior to the sixth day of classes during a semester. Students who withdraw from the current term after classes have started, will have those charges reduced based upon the week of cancellation as follows:

Week 1 is the first week of classes of the Fall and Spring semesters. Weeks during which the University is on vacation for the entire week do not count in this adjustment schedule. Adjustments for students who receive financial aid will be computed on a modified schedule provided by the WSU Office of Student Financial Services.
Tuition adjustments for classes whose length varies from the regular 15-week term will be a proration of the tuition adjustment schedule noted above.
Summer Session
Due to the complexity of tuition adjustment for summer session courses, students must contact the summer session office for the campus at which they are enrolled. In general, the amount of the adjustment depends on the dates of the courses. Withdrawal from the current term is not allowed if the student has completed any class during the session. Other policies may also exist that could impact the amount of the adjustment.
Tuition Adjustment (Fall/Spring)
Term Withdrawal fee: 5% of the assessed tuition (up to $100) in addition to other amounts due.
After the first five days of instruction: You will owe tuition and mandatory fees according to the schedule below.
Weeks are calculated Monday through Sunday 11:59pm.

Per Class
Fall and Spring Semesters
WSU charges full-time tuition from 10-18 credits and part-time tuition from 1-9 credits during Fall and Spring Semesters (2-credit-minimum tuition charge). Additional tuition is charged for enrolling in more than 18 credits.
When a student drops one or more but not all classes prior to the drop deadline (class removed from record) and the remaining enrollment places the student in a part-time enrollment status (fewer than 10 credits), adjustments will be made to tuition and mandatory fee charges, according to university policy.
When a student withdraws from one or more but not all classes after the drop deadline (W grade assigned) and the remaining enrollment places the student in a part-time enrollment status (fewer than 10 credits), adjustments will NOT be made to tuition and mandatory fee charges. A $5 fee is charged for each withdrawal.
To drop or withdraw from an individual class, go to your Student Center in myWSU and select "Enrollment: Drop" from the drop down option.
If a student wishes to drop or withdraw from all classes for the current term, this requires a withdrawal from the current term.
